Callahan
I’m the Kane brother everyone gossips about behind closed doors.
Trust fund brat. Washed-up athlete. High-functioning alcoholic.
No one knows the real me but her.
Lana Castillo—my childhood best friend and the only woman I ever loved.
When I broke her heart six years ago, I promised to never return to Lake Wisteria.
I kept my word until my grandfather’s will changed everything.
To receive my inheritance, I was tasked with spending a summer at the family lake house before selling it.
The request was simple in theory until my entire plan blew up on the very first day.
Turns out Lana doesn’t just live at the house, but she claims to own it, too.

Alana
Falling in love with Callahan Kane was a mistake.
He told me so before destroying my heart and our friendship six summers ago.
When he promised never to come back, I foolishly believed him.
But then Cal showed up again, intending to sell his grandfather’s lake house.
The biggest flaw in his plan?
My name is on the deed.

My Review:

I can’t believe the Dreamland Billionaires series is over! This series was the first one that I delved into that set me off on my romance loving spree. I’ve really enjoyed reading the books and getting to know the characters and see how they develop. So when this one was released, I KNEW it would be on my birthday wish list and thankfully I got it! (Otherwise I would’ve been straight to the bookstore…)

Unlike the first 2 in the series, Cal isn’t a grumpy CEO kind of characters, instead he’s just a troubled soul completely lost. From what I saw of him in the first 2 books he seemed like a nice guy but, as like all the Kane brothers, he has his secrets. It was a nice change of pace compared to Rowan and Declan’s stories so I enjoyed it.

There were so many times I wanted to give Cal a massive hug because I could see how much he was struggling but also slap him because he was so stupid sometimes! He really needed to face his demons rather than running from them like all the times he had in the past. And we were kind of alluded to Lana in the previous books but it was great to hear more about her and her relationship with Cal.

They were so cute together – you could tell from the very beginning that they were soulmates, whether they were willing to admit it or not. I think when you grow up with someone for so long and the relationship develops from friendship to more, you’re bound to be extremely close to them. I really enjoyed seeing this though, again it was so different from the previous books in the series.

And then there’s Lana. I absolutely love the girl. She is such a strong woman that doesn’t take any shit from any of the Kane brothers. She’s more than happy to call them out when needed which is exactly what Cal needs. Even though they’ve got such a strong but also rocky history, she knows herself and knows she has to protect Cami so doesn’t fall for Cal (straight away at least). I would honestly love to read more about her. She’s so hard on herself sometimes but you can tell that she is the best mother to Cami and is always sacrificing her happiness for others. Gah, she deserves the world!

And Cami!!! Oh my god, the scene with her and Cal literally melted my heart. She’s such a clued up little girl that knows what she’s doing, especially when it comes to swindling Cal out of money for the swear jar. Her happiness is so contagious and you can’t help but love her.

At one point when I was reading, I thought to myself Am I enjoying this as much as the other books? Or is it quite slow? but I knew I just needed to give it time because by the end I was tearing up at both Cal and Lana getting their happily ever after.

Another thing I really liked about Final Offer was seeing Rowan and Declan since their stories and how the pair of them have changed. My heart was almost bursting when Declan was being protective of his little girl. I guess I’m just a sucker for men being great dads.

Overall, I think this was a great conclusion to the Dreamland Billionaires series. Even though I would love to read more about the Kane brothers, their story was tied up so neatly and exactly how I would’ve liked it to end. If you’re looking for an easy to read romance, mixed with a bit of spice, and a whole lot of men making stupid decisions before realising they were wrong – this series is for you!
